Josh and I are heading to the game tomorrow morning. We are so excited! We are going with some friends who have season tickets. They are so great for letting us hang out with them and enjoy this game. The weather is suppose to be perfect. Cool/ not to hot. I just hope that we don't get a down pour or something crazy like that. The kids are going to there grandma's to stay for the evening and then after the game we will go and stay the night with her. It will be really nice to not have to drive all the way home.
I will put pictures on my blog when we return.... See you on the big screen!

Celebration of Life.....

The Bible says that the Lord is "the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
This verses brings comfort to me during the time of grief with my grandmother passing away and also Helen my friends mom passing away. It is hard to watch to women who were very much loved to leave this earth. Even knowing that they were both going to be with Jesus it still was hard. Until today when Josh brought this verses to me. It was on a familar radio station that we both listen to. It was a conversation between Dr. Dobson and Steven Curtis Chapman. If you haven't heard about the tragic news that Steven Curtis Chapman daughter Maria Sue was in a horrible accident and lost her life. She was only five years old. This verses above gave comfort to the Chapman family during this hard time. It also brings me comfort during this hard time in my life. In my situation it has to do with cancer/ death but it is still losing someone that you loved. God is there for you in the good times and in the bad. We must rely on him with everything that we are going thru during that certain day or hour. It will bring us comfort and he will be able to get us through every situation that we go thru.
This afternoon I was very lucky to be a part of a celebration of life. It was the most amazing thing. Friends and family gathered at the middle school in my town and remembered a wonderful women that did anything for her family. She loved anyone that crossed her path and she had a love for Jesus and everyone knew it. It was filled with memories and stories of her life and pictures to show how happy she was. Helen was a wonderful women and she will be greatly missed. This celebration of life encouraged me to make sure that people know that I love Jesus. It also has helped me to not sweat the small stuff and to make sure that I mend any relationships that are in turmoil. You just never know what the future does hold only Jesus knows and I want to make sure that I live my life the way that he wants me too. It was a good closure to everything that has happen this month in my life.
Helen you will be missed but I know you are singing in Heaven with the angels. How exciting is that. Something that you have always wanted.
Goodnight.......Sleep tight.......Remember Jesus loves you......

Nap Time!

It was nap time and I wanted to see what all the noise was and this is the picture that I walked in on. Miranda was suppose to be taking a nap but her dad and brother wanted to give her some love. That little girl has them wrapped around her little finger. I told Josh that she wouldn't be going to sleep with the two of them in there with her and he said I know. She has been having a hard time going to sleep this last week. I fight with her at nap time and also at bed time. So not sure what to do. Jonas didn't start this until he was at least three. She might not need that nap anymore. We will see this week.

This week is going to be a long week. My friend is going to bury her mom and a middle school gets to say good bye to a secretary. A very loved women. The family is having a viewing tomorrow, graveside ceremony and celebration of life on Tuesday. Two long days but needed with as many people that Helen has touched.

This is a picture that I found on my camera. I think Jonas was trying to see what he could do. Silly little boy.

Enough for tonight. Jonas has his Kindergarden interview on Thursday. That should be exciting. It just shows where he is in his development. Talk again soon....

Hard to say goodbye.....

This evening a good friends mom loss her battle to cancer and went to be with Jesus. I have had a rough couple of weeks. First my grandmother went to be with Jesus and now my friends mom. Helen was a wonderful women. She always had a smile on her face and always talking with everyone and never complained about how she was feeling. This evening while talking about her a little boy said that "she was like a grandma to me". She was, she always made you feel at home and that you were a very special person. She's survived by her husband Merle and three daughter's Krissy, April and Holly a son Greg and twelve grandchildren.
Helen was diagonised last year with cancer and later told that it was spreading and she would only have six months to live. Until last week she worked as a secretary at a middle school here in town and spent many hours with her family. She would come to church on sunday and help with sunday school and come wed nights and help with the kids. Also was a greeter on sunday mornings and everyone would love to sit and talk to her. She was always surrounded by people and always was checking to see who wasn't there to send them a miss you card. She was a very wonderful women. She also was very loved at her place of work. She will be missed by many people but we all know that she is with Jesus and is without pain now. Jesus please take care of Helen and help the family to be at peace with your timing.

Special Man I married!

This evening when Josh got home he handed me a coffee, card and pink rose. He said that he was a day late and dollar short this year. It has been a very long weekend with Jeremy and Chelsea's wedding and festivities. On our anniversary we were exhasted so we just went to lunch @ our new favorite resturant. It was very nice although we had children with us so the focus was more on them then ourselves but that is okay. After lunch we went home and just relaxed the rest of the afternoon. I actually got to take a nap for two hours. Yeah I don't get to do that very often. So anyway. For Joshua to bring home a coffee and a rose for me was very special. I have married a very thoughtful man and very romantic. Joshua you an amazing guy and my best friend. I am very lucky that you wanted to marry me and spend the rest of your life with me. I love you.

The big day!

My little brother is now married to a beautiful woman. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of hot weather, dancing, water, and tears of joy. It was so fun. I was so lucky to be with them during this very special time in there lives. My other brother Jason was the best man and did an awesome job on the best man speech. It was very heart felt and it totally fit our little brother. Well done Jason. The day started with pictures which turned out wonderful. They got a couple that did it together. Which was very nice because they were able to split and the guy went with the boys and the lady went with us. Nice because that made the pictures go ten times faster. They did there engament pictures so I know they will turn out great.
Next was the ceremony. Miranda and Jonas did great. Miranda ended up having to walk with Josh and I down the aile which was fine. She did tossed the flowers so that was very cute. Jonas did run down the aile but it did such a great job. It was a blast. They had a friend do the ceremony and he did such an awesome job and made it totally fit the two of them.

It was a fun weekend and a very long tiring one. But it was well worth every moment of it. We are so happy to have Chelsea in our family and I am proud to call her my sister in-law. This time saying it is the first time that it is offical. Welcome to the family Chelsea!

This weekend we also were able to have my cousin Parker come and stay with us. Parker is seven and him and Jonas get a long really well. They are the best of friends. Parker didn't want to leave tonight and Jonas didn't want him to leave. My aunt is moving closer so the kids will be able to play more since they will be closer. Yeah.

Well enough of the long weekend. I really need to go to bed.... Until next time...

Long Week.....

Well we are finally home and relaxing. It was a very long week. We left on Wed and drove eleven hours to get to Cal. On thursday we buried my grandmother. It was a nice service. It hit me really hard when we drove passed the hearse. Knowing that my grandmother was inside and it was so final. We then spent the rest of the evening with my family. I was very impressed with my cousins. Parker who is seven was a hoot. He just told stories and made me laugh and laugh. Him and Jonas got a long really well and when he comes down this week for Jeremy wedding he is going to stay the night. Jonas can't wait. I also have a cousin who just graduated high school (Alfred), he totally impressed me. He is very mature and is so cute. He has a girlfriend who they have dated for eleven months. Such a sweetie. Brandon who is a senior in high school this year also impressed me. He was very willing to play with the little boys and spend time with them. Tyler also who is a freshman in high was also so sweet. He was quite but being with a lot of people might have been very over whelming. Oh and I can't forget Brady. He was just so cute and so much fun to just hold a baby again.

We traveled home on Friday. Which for some reason I was in a bad mood and desided that it would be good to take it out on everyone. Not a good idea!
Saturday we got up and decided to go down to Eugene. We went and visited Josh's mom. We haven't spent much time with her lately so it was nice to just relax and talk. Jonas and Miranda got there hair cut from Marsha (Josh's stepsister). It was Miranda first hair cut and she did really well. She sat there like a pro and didn't move. She looks like a big girl now. Very very cute!
Today was another busy day. We went to Levi 5th birthday. Jonas was so excited for Levi to open his presents. He wanted to play with everyone of them. Jonas went to the store and he picked out his present. It was so cute because he new exactly what Levi wanted. Really it was what Jonas wanted but it was so cute that he wanted to do it all on his own. Fun.

Well enough of our busy week..... More to come with the big wedding this weekend......

Laid Back Sunday!

Sunday was a relaxing afternoon. We went to church in the morning and then relaxed at home the rest of the day. Josh decided to get down on the ground and the kids think that he was is a jumping bag or something. I can remember doing that with my dad when we were little. It was really nice to just relax and not have to be on the go. Which seems to be the thing that we have been doing...
Saturday my in-laws were in town still and we took them down to the farmers market. It was nice because the kids got to get some kettle corn and looked at many beautiful flowers. Jonas got to smell flowers that smelled like chocolate. Fun. Sherrill bought me a plant that I will plant later today. The beautiful plant will be in memory of my beautiful grandmother. Then every day I look at it I will think of grandma. I want to make sure I find the perfect place for it. That way I can look outside and find it at anytime. Then after the farmers market we went to Jason and Beth little coffee shop. We shared lunch and then very yummy cake. It was so nice to just sit and relax with family after a hard evening the night before. Later in the evening after Josh went to work and Papa and Sherrill went to there reunion Jonas, Miranda and I went to go see my mom. She is so strong during this time. Jonas found two batman cars that he thought that he needed them. Miranda got two different outfits for winter.
See you tomorrow in the funny pages......

The Life of a Beautiful Women!

My grandmother Beverly Jean Tootle was a beautiful women. She may not have said that but I think she was a elegant women. Last night my grandmother passed away and went to be with Jesus. Around 8:30 in the evening she just stopped breathing. I was visiting with Josh's dad and Step-mom when my parents walked through the door. It was 10:30 and I knew that it wasn't good since usually my parents are already in bed by that point. I spent yesterday morning with my mom and she could tell something wasn't right. Grandma wasn't breathing very well the night before and my mom could sense that it was coming soon. I just didn't realize that it was going to be this soon.
Last night I lay awake thinking about my grandmother. I can remember when I was little and struggling to go to sleep and she would just hold me and rub my eyes. It was very comforting and so relaxing that I would be fast asleep in no time. Silly things came to mind like that she wore bracellets and one was jade. It was so pretty, she always wore it. The way she carried herself was amazing. She had class that if for sure. When Josh and I got married she sent me a picture of her dress and shoes that she was going to wear. It was so cute. I can remember her soft hands (mom you have the same hands as grandma) holding mine. I also can remember when Papa and her came to Washington to pick us up and take us back to California. We played the game if you were quite to the next rest stop then we could get a quarter. She took me shopping while I was there with my Aunt Cara. It was so much fun. The memories can go on and on. I will never forget my grandma and how special is to me. I wish we had more time together but I know this was God's timing and I respect that.

Grandma you will be missed deeply but I know that you are with out pain now. I love you with all my heart!

1:38 in the Morning

Yes, I am awake. Not by choose but because the parent who was suppose to be picking her children up @ midnight still hasn't gotten here yet..... It is my birthday and where the heck is this women. Okay enough with the venting. Not a happy camper and would love to just lay down and go to sleep. To bad I can't just turn off all the lights and put a note on the door and say come get your children in the morning.
Anyway. Today was a nice start. Josh woke me up and wanted me to come to the living room. I went and say a huge package in the middle of the room. I was excited! Josh got me a Kitchen Aide Mixer. It is Red. My favorite color. My mom and Dad were going to take me out to dinner but that didn't happen. Oh well.
So the excitment of my day was a my daycare child came in to tell me that the little girls were playing in poop. Yeah. I walked in and Miranda took off her diaper and was smearing poop all over. Groose! I spent the rest of the evening cleaning up the playroom and the little girls. They had it all over.

Well that is enough for tonight....
